A feasibility study commissioned by Poplar Play to provide a new wing whilst consolidating their existing accommodation.

The new wing provides daytime accommodation for the youngest children, freeing up much needed space inside for the other age groups. Existing rooms and spaces inside the centre are re-ordered and refurbished.

The extension aligns itself with the geometry of the existing building whilst providing enclosure to the outside play areas and improving the presence of the centre to the main road. The form is simple, legible and cost effective.
