Planning permission has been granted in Enfield to build a three-bedroom house on a site currently occupied by two garages and part of a garden. The detached house has a simple, robust form and has been designed to be straightforward to build using traditional materials and methods.

In their response to the application, Enfield Council states: ‘The design is a clever solution for a tight site and will contribute to the London Plan policy’s ambition for appropriate suburban densification’.
